Lightweight plastics

We are engaged in the research and development of physically expanded polyethylene foams TUBEX, SPURO, SPURO Foam, SPURO Profile and others. We have applied our experience and knowledge of the exceptional physical properties of expanded plastics in the design and production of practical shelters IGLOU and BETTER SHELTER, intended primarily for homeless people.

In addition to helping individuals, our foams also contribute to reducing the carbon footprint of many carriers who use our HARDEX foam cores for composite panels in their vehicle structures. We are continuously innovating our packaging materials and other foam products based on the application, desired durability and target mechanical and physical properties.

Better Shelter

Development and innovation of roof and side plastic panels of a modular housing system

Current innovations are primarily focused on improving the quality of life of residents in terms of thermal and lighting comfort and achieving maximum safety of the “house” during use. We develop non-flammable, non-halogen systems with regard to health safety and providing the longest possible time for possible evacuation.

Through UV stabilization and continuous improvement of mechanical and physical properties, we strive to achieve maximum product durability. At the same time, we focus on reducing the carbon footprint through material uniformity, which allows for full recycling at the end of the product’s life.

HARDEX foam cores for composite panels

Development and innovation of PP-based composite foams for specialized sandwich panels

We support our customers in the field of composite panels, lamination process efficiency, development and innovation of adhesive systems. We offer innovations in the field of mechanical and insulation properties, in the requirements for non-flammability, chemical and temperature resistance, and we propose modifications to achieve long-term durability.

Foam elements for leisure activities

Development and innovation of mattresses, pads and elements designed for the needs of children and adults, for bathing, relaxation, fitness or camping

We develop our foam with regard to the application, the required product lifespan and ensuring optimal mechanical and physical properties.

Specialized packaging materials

Development and innovation of PE-based packaging foams and PE and PP foam systems

According to the needs of our customers, we innovate the mechanical and thermal insulation properties of the product, improve chemical resistance, develop special damping elements, non-flammable systems and more.

Nanofiber membranes

We are convinced that the future belongs to nanomaterials. That is why, in cooperation with Tomas Bata University in Zlín, we launched research and development in the field of filtration of ultrafine particles in gases and liquids in 2019. Together, we are searching for and finding their surprising and extremely necessary use in many fields of human activity. We produce and sell our own nanofiber membranes under the name SPURTEX®. We have also applied the excellent filtration efficiency in the production of our own line of protective work equipment, nano masks and nano respirators FFP2 and FFP3. We are currently applying the extraordinary nanoparticle capture capabilities of the SPURTEX® membrane in the development of the filter layer of protective military clothing or filter inserts intended for OPP, air conditioning units and filter jugs.

Development of a specially functionalized membrane for application in protective military clothing

We are developing filtration layers at the material level of nanofibers, which are able to provide maximum protection against solid and aerosol particles. We emphasize maintaining lightness and comfort when using protective clothing and its maximum durability, with a minimal decrease in functional parameters.

Nanofiber filter insert for PPE and air conditioning units

Development of a substitution for commonly used glass filtration materials

A new material composition of a filter insert for protective work equipment and air conditioning units using nanofibers and microfibers, which brings innovation in maximum filtration efficiency and capture in the area of ​​nanoparticles.

Submicron filter insert to improve drinking water quality

Development of a special filtration unit for filter jugs and kitchen faucets

We are working on an innovative solution to improve the quality and taste of drinking tap water. Specialized filtration units using materials with functional submicron fibers that capture and destroy unwanted bacteria are designed for application in filter jugs and kitchen faucets.

Sustainable tailor-made solutions

During development and subsequent production, we place great emphasis on topics such as environmental protection and responsible business. 95% of the products we produce are recyclable. You will be surprised where you can find our solutions.

Thanks to our own recycling center SPUR Recycling, we help our customers with products made from high-quality recycled material that meets strict criteria for industrial use – from development, through prototypes to series production.

Development of compound mixtures

With our partner company EKOTREND Ludky s.r.o. we develop recipes for specialized applications according to customer requirements. Our priority is high quality, maximum use of recycled materials and meeting the required safety limits of future products.

Surface treatment of plastics

We specialize in modifying the functional and design properties of plastics according to specific applications. We perform surface treatment with plasma, electrostatic discharge and primer. This allows us to offer unique solutions tailored to the requirements of our partners.

Increasing the proportion of recycled materials in products

We focus on increasing the recyclability of our plastic products and reusing waste materials. We innovate and incorporate recyclates obtained by processing waste from municipal and post-industrial sources with the aim of achieving full product circularity.
